About Ucora
Our History
Many field service platforms were originally built by technicians who got frustrated and decided to code their own. We took a different path.
Ucora began in Ontario in 1990. Over the next three decades, we built workflow systems from scratch for some of the world’s most demanding organizations - steel manufacturers, insurance firms, supply chains, municipalities, roofing companies, aviation operations. Over 150 systems. No shortcuts. No templates. Just deep, hands-on work in the messiest parts of business.
It was chaotic work. But it taught us something critical:
When companies struggle, it’s rarely because of missing features. It’s because the system doesn’t fit the way people actually work, a mismatch that quietly drains performance every day.
That insight changed everything. It led us to design systems built on fit, not features - platforms that grow with companies instead of holding them back.
We pressure-tested our platform with over 100 companies - side by side with technicians, coordinators, and owners. We let them rip it apart. Then we rebuilt it. Again and again. The result is a system that helps reduce friction, retain great people, and scale without burning out staff or ballooning overhead.
But Ucora isn’t just about building software. It’s about building stronger companies - ones where people are trusted, supported, and proud to grow.
What We Stand For
- We believe your technicians want to do more for your company. Our platform is built to let them deliver.
- We believe companies grow when everyone inside them is allowed to grow - not micromanaged, second-guessed, or boxed in by rigid systems.
- We believe field service software should amplify the good in your team.
What We Stand Against
- We stand against workflows that create friction.
- We stand against systems that look powerful on paper but disempower the front-line people who use them.
- We stand against platforms that reduce motivated, intelligent workers into being unthinking robots.
The Future We’re Building
We’re building a future where service companies run on clarity, not chaos. Where technicians feel trusted. Office staff feel in control. And owners feel proud - not exhausted.
Our customers don’t just use our systems to run their days. They use them to build companies people want to stay with - and grow in.
If you’ve ever felt like your software is working against you - not with you - you’re not alone. And the longer it goes unchecked, the more it costs your people, your time, and your growth.
We’ve seen it. We’ve lived it. And we built a way out.
If that sounds like the company you want to build, we’re here for you.
